This is one of the handiest recipes I have. On days when I don’t feel like spending much time cooking, this is a recipe I turn to. It’s quick and easy to make and tastes like a cross between a chapathi and dosai! And I mean that in a good way! Thanks to my sister’s friend for this yummy recipe!
Atta – 1 cup
Maida – 1/2 cup
Rice flour – 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
- Mix atta, maida and rice flour in a bowl. Add salt to taste
- Add water slowly and mix till you get a batter-consistency. No resting time is required for this batter
- Pour this onto a hot tava just like you would with regular dosai batter. Add oil and allow it turn a deep brown before flipping to the other side. The dosai will not crisp up like a regular dosai but it will turn a nice brown color
- This easy-to-make dosai tastes best with tomato chutney!
